“ Funky! This is an outstanding release for Wellington-based British saxophonist Johnny Lippet and his band. The nine groove-filled tracks were recorded at Massey University this year and feature some very tasty playing indeed. Although all funky, a lot of terrain is covered, including electric jazz and reggae. ..just gets better and better with repeated listening – and I loved it the first time! Highly recommended.
